- Use of this website
The content, images, text, and branding on this website are the intellectual property of Wonderland bakehouse and may not be copied, reproduced or used without written permission.
The website is intended for general information, enquiries and booking discussions only.
- Bespoke orders
All cakes and products are made to order. A booking is only confirmed once design details have been agreed and a deposit has been received.
Minimum booking times are:
- Wedding cakes: at least 1 month in advance
- Custom cakes: at least 2 weeks in advance
Shorter notice orders may be accepted at our discretion, depending on availability and feasibility.
- Quotes and pricing
Price quotes are based on the details provided at the time of enquiry and may change if the design, size or requirements are amended.
Quotes are valid for a limited period and are not final until the booking is confirmed with a deposit.
Design changes are accepted up to:
- 2 weeks before the event for wedding cakes
- 4 days before the event for custom cakes
Later changes may be considered only if feasible.
- Creative variation
All cakes are handmade, and slight variations in colour, texture and decoration may occur.
Reference photos from clients are used as inspiration only. Exact replicas cannot be guaranteed.
If flowers, colours or materials originally discussed are unavailable, we reserve the right to make reasonable design adjustments that maintain the overall agreed style.
Wonderland bakehouse may photograph the cake for portfolio and social media purposes; if clients or guests appear in the photos, permission will be requested separately.
- Allergies and ingredients
Wonderland bakehouse operates in a kitchen where allergens such as nuts, gluten, eggs and dairy are present. Therefore, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
Clients are responsible for informing guests of any allergen risks.
Full allergen information is available on our website and upon request.
Failure to disclose allergies may result in refusal of the order.
- Delivery, handover and responsibility
Wedding cakes are delivered and set up exclusively by Wonderland bakehouse.
Custom cakes may be collected by clients if agreed in advance.
Once the cake has been delivered or handed over to the venue staff or client, responsibility for its care, storage and safety transfers to the client/venue.
A handover confirmation will be signed by the receiving staff member or client, confirming the cake was delivered in good condition.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage occurring after delivery or handover.
- Storage and serving
Clients and venues must follow the provided storage and serving instructions. These instructions are supplied in printed form, sent by email, and published on our website.
Improper storage (such as leaving cakes in warm rooms overnight or placing them in direct sunlight) invalidates any complaints.
Complaints relating to cakes that have already been cut or consumed cannot be accepted.
- Complaints
Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or collection.
Photographic evidence is required for assessment.
Complaints will not be considered if storage instructions were not followed, or if the cake has been partially or fully consumed.
- Liability
If an issue is found to be the fault of Wonderland bakehouse, our maximum liability will not exceed the total value of the order.
We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses.
- Force Majeure
Wonderland bakehouse will not be liable for failure to complete an order due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including illness, accidents, extreme unforeseen events, venue-related incidents, strikes, or major disruptions.
In such cases, clients will receive a full refund plus a 10% discount on a future order.
Vehicle failure, minor weather conditions or similar operational issues do not constitute force majeure, and we remain responsible for arranging alternative delivery solutions.
- Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page.
- Governing law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
